D-Now 2009

I spent the last weekend with a house-full of 7th grade girls for FBC's Disciple Now weekend. We piled into a house, had Bible studies, learned about what it means to really be a follower of Christ, and had a great time! Even though I was lucky enough to sleep in a bedroom adorned with Jonas Brothers posters, I'm exhausted! It was a super-busy, hyper, good time! :)

We did a service project on Saturday, and the girls really enjoyed doing it! They made cute cards to attach to small potted plants, and then we delivered them to random people in poor neighborhoods. The plan was to tell people who we were, that we prayed for them, that God loved them, and to enjoy the flowers. Each girl got to choose which house she wanted to deliver her flowers to, and then she got to ring the doorbell and say the spiel. It was a great time!

We ate lots of good junk food!

And had lots of good times!
