Our theme for VBS this year was Upside Down & Inside Out at First Dallas! Every day the children learned a new parable of Jesus (where Jesus turned things upside down and inside out to teach TRUTH and made us think differently!). It was a fun and exhausting week...I tried to capture a few memories!
Recreation included games, bounce houses, snow cones and lots of fun!

Music time should always include a parachute!
Craft-time!

Bible story time!

Happy halls!

Look who brought their offering!

Our teachers are so creative! Just look at this room!

Look who I found in the hall!

I headed up our PreK/K/1st Large Group Team (my mom, Stephanie Pulley, Elizabeth Burroughs, Lexi Copeland and Rachel Copeland) who ROCKED every single day!

Wayne Kerr was there, too! Go Wayne!

Then Austin gave Hattie his pretty eyes...can I have some???

Uhhh, okaaaay...
Kristin and I pray our children will one day know the Lord and meet each other at A&M and fall in love! Who knows?!?

Ms. Amy was one of Hattie's teachers! Hattie saw her in the hall and immediately ran to her and was ready to go to class!

This first grader was one of many children who gave, sacrificially, to our VBS offering this year. It took him all year to save this $100 which he was planning on spending to get a turtle...yet, he gave all he had (HAPPILY, too!) to help people who had nothing. He told us he prayed about it, and God told him he should give it all. A true "Widow's Mite" example for us all!
Until next year!

Your Mom looks awesome and Hattie's favourite Sunday School teacher looks like a you and Molly combo! Thanks for posting!
Yay! We made your blog! How fun! We miss y'all already...
P.S. My son is such a stinker. He'd just had lunch but always makes room for strawberries. He's a bottomless pit! :)
