Easter Weekend

We had a busy few days last weekend! First, Hattie helped me pick out some flowers at Home Depot and then we spend the morning planting them in the front flower bed.

We took a break to have a picnic on the front steps.

Hattie was very busy taking care of Blue Boy in her grocery cart (you can't see him because he's tucked in VERY well by Pink Blanket).

Then we put on our aprons and baked Resurrection Rolls!


Then we had dinner at Nonnie and Grandad's on Saturday night...just another excuse for fun cousin time!

Early the next morning, Hattie found some chapstick which the Easter bunny had left for her! She immediately started moisturizing!

Easter Sunday morning was wonderful at FBD! Hattie was the first child to enter the preschool area and put her flower on the flower cross!

The kids all brought flowers and gradually, throughout the morning, the ugly cross became a thing of beauty for everyone to see!

Large Group time was special, too...we had Resurrection Rolls for everyone!

We concluded our evening at home, enjoying the cool weather, and blowing bubbles!

We are so grateful He is Risen!
