Picnic Pics :)

These pictures are long overdue...Hattie and I went on a picnic to Lakeside by Turtle Creek on the Saturday before Easter (we had to entertain ourselves all day, while Jeremy was busy at the church for an all-day rehearsal!).  We had the best time!  We packed our picnic basket full of our favorite lunch items, brought the camera, and loaded the car with a big blanket and were off!  We got there early enough to play and walk around for a long time, then we ate lunch, fed the ducks our leftovers, and played around some more.  It was the best time!

We saw lots of people walking their dogs, and Hattie petted every one of them.

On our way home, we paid a visit to Granny's house to take a picture of her pretty bush that ALWAYS has the prettiest blooms in the spring...so pretty!  Granny told us it was planted there the very year they bought their house because they needed something to go by the lamp post.  So fun.

This day is just one of the many reasons why I love spring!  God's creation is so lovely...a beautiful reminder of how much He loves us.
