We were pleasantly surprised that she came when she did...we had only just decided to induce on her due date, Monday the 24th, but Georgia decided to humor her mommy and arrive on the 23rd!
(Sidenote: To those of you who don't know, I have a favorite number...23. It's not just Michael Jordan's number...it's mine! My birthday is May 23rd, Hattie's is August 23rd, and there are several other reasons why I like 23 which I won't bore you with...it is just the number that follows me around all the time! We were all joking that God would bring Georgia on the 23rd, but I wasn't going to hold Him to it if He didn't. ;) But how much fun is that?!?! He indulged me, and let both of my girls be born on the 23rd! Jeremy keeps joking that God did it for him, so that he wouldn't have to stress over remembering the birthdays of the ladies in his life!)
Whatever the reason, we are SO grateful for our precious gift in Georgia Truett. Praise the Lord that she is healthy and growing...every life is a gift from HIM and we thank You, God!

Here is Jami, the nurse who received us and took care of me all Saturday night until 7am on Sunday morning.
We were so sad to see Jami go off duty, but she made sure we got the hook-up with her BFF, Jessica. Jessica was my awesome labor nurse! Two incredible nurses...they made our experience SO positive!
Hattie loved our recovery room window...
Just before lunchtime on Tuesday, they released Georgia and me to go home!
