Growing Up...

Lately, I've become keenly aware of how quickly time is flying by with our big girl, Hattie.  Three weeks ago, we enrolled her in KINDERGARTEN!!!  I know!  Here she is at Kindergarten Round-Up, lining up for a game in the gym, while the parents went to the information meeting.  I almost cried right there!
Our big-girl treat after Round-Up was Pinkberry!
Hattie has been going through a Daddy phase lately, too.  She loves doing special things with Jeremy...slurpees, trips to Home Depot, working in the yard...it's all fun with Daddy!
Then two weeks ago, Hattie spent a week with Gramma and Poppa!  They took her on "the house-truck" and camped in Tyler, and she had an incredible time!  They even got her a new princess sleeping bag for the trip!
Hattie LOVED camping!
Roasting marshmallows, eating grilled burgers and hot dogs, riding her bike and finding rocks and shells to put in her treasure box...who wouldn't have fun?!?!
Poppa and Gramma always make sure Hattie feels extra special and loved...no matter what they're doing.
She's riding her bike SO well now!  She still falls every now and then, but she gets right back up and pedals onward.
She loves to help me dust and vacuum.  And she's very good at it, too!
Despite her signs of growing up before my very eyes, she remains this sweet little sprite in my eyes.  She still has a vivid imagination and dreams big!  Here she is, dressing up Clifford so they can go swimming in the living room last week.
Today, she came running in from the back yard, saying, "Mommy!  Mommy!  You're not going to believe this!  The back yard is COVERED in dandelions!  There must be a hundred!"  She went along, singing her song and picked every single flower for me.

My cup runneth over.
