Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday!  We spent the night at Nonnie and Grandad's house, so waking up at their house on Easter was lots of fun!  We even had time to take a few pictures before church!  And, I admit, I took a TON of pictures, but I just couldn't narrow them down!  Sorry!
He is risen!
Happy Easter!
Putting a flower on the flower cross...
Our good friends, Landon and Lorelai
Hattie with her Sunday School teacher, Mrs. Marge.
And her good friend, Angelica.  All the PreK-6th grade children got to experience the Resurrection Road this year...I'll have to blog about that another time because it deserves more explanation than this!  It was a fantastic, multi sensory experience for everyone!
After church, Daddy and his girls!
Mama and her girls!
Hattie and I went for a walk after lunch...it was sooooo gorgeous outside!
Grandad and Georgia came out to play, too!
The next day, Hattie and I dyed Easter eggs...it was a FIRST for both of us!  I don't know why I was nervous about it...it turned out to be lots of fun!
The finished product!
Then Landon and Lorelai "egged" us, too!  Hattie had the BEST time searching our yard for 12 eggs.
The last one we found was empty...just like Jesus' tomb!
What a wonderful season of Easter we had!  Thank You, God, for sending your Son Jesus to take our punishment and we praise You for raising Him on that glorious day!
