We watched a LOT of tv and played lots of Candyland.
I tried to get her interested in my old Kids Praise tapes...she was less than enthusiastic about them.
When her fever temporarily went down, she had moments like this...
But then a few hours later, she would look like this.
She was so brave, though! Getting chest x-rays was a breeze with this big girl!
The very next day, I was back with THIS little girl for chest x-rays. Her fever got as high as 104.6! But no pneumonia!
Thankfully, Hattie's diagnosis was pneumonia and she started to feel a little better in 24 hours, although her symptoms were still pretty hard core for 48 more hours. And, in true "is this really my life?" fashion, we had a super-stressful tornado warning in our neighborhood while the girls were napping, so I woke them up and we huddled in the laundry room for 30 minutes. They had no idea how hard my heart was beating and my hands were shaking...they were such troopers!
Today Georgia is still fighting this stinky virus...
But, like her big sister, she has moments where I can still see my happy girl through the sickie face.
I'm so thankful Hattie is well, and we're praying Georgia pushes through her virus in the next few days.

So sorry they've been so sick! Hope Georgia is better soon!
