Special Stuff

I have a lot to catch up on!  Here comes a big blog!  Our girls are growing fast!  Georgia decided she wanted to be like Hattie and have her nails painted, too!
Ever-snazzy on the way to church...
Straightening it up, but still cool...
Loving on Daddy when he came home from work!
Georgia still DIES to get into Hattie's room and play with Hattie's things and sit on Hattie's bed...Hattie usually doesn't like sharing, but sometimes we have nice moments like this!
We're prepping Georgia for potty training soon (not sure when we're going to actually do it), and she gets to practice sitting on the potty whenever she wants to.  She really enjoys pretending like she is being a big girl!  We'll do the real thing probably sometime this summer!
Before the monsoon of May 2015, Georgia and I had a good time going on walks. She picks up every acorn, rock, and stick she possibly can until she can't hold any more!  Precious treasures!
Hattie discovered her favorite apple is a Pink Lady!  How appropriate!
We had to get a picture with Mrs. Jackie at the church the other day.  Hattie has gotten in the habit of getting fresh popcorn from her popcorn buddy every Wednesday afternoon (when she helps me do some work at my desk before Awana starts).  Jackie and Hattie became best of friends over popcorn this year!
I got to have a night out with friends and we went to Painting With A Twist...it was such fun!
Right before the major flood season of May, I planted these flowers...it was perfect timing because now they're growing and blooming and thrilled to be here!  I'll have to post a picture of what they look like today a little later!
The other day, Georgia walked in the room with this look on her face.  She was so serious and so proud of the way she managed to put this headband on her own head!
Soon it was time to throw caution to the wind and accessorize!
Our precious neighbors, Matt and Piper, sold their house and moved away.  We will miss them so much...they were so sweet!  But they gave the girls special chicken purses to remember their "chicken neighbors" by!  (They had a chicken coop in their backyard and let us visit their chickens all the time!)
Hattie was awarded a trophy for completing her Kindergarten Scripture Book at church!
We were so proud of her!
Then came the last week of school at Grace Academy...uniform-freedom!!!!
Shockingly enough, Hattie's friend Alise wore a similar outfit to school!  Kitty shirts and ruffle skirts!
And this little Georgia June Bug picked out her very own sunglasses at the store!
Then Hattie got her Awana Spark award for finishing her Spark book this year!
On the last day of school, Hattie had to stay home (it was a half-day anyway, and I ended up taking her to the doctor with what we thought was an ear infection...turns out, it was just a MASSIVE piece of earwax rubbing on the membrane in her ear).  With our extra time after our doctor's appointment, we happened upon the Disney store RIGHT at opening time!  Hattie got to open "wake up the magic" in the store!
They gave her a key to her imagination!
And since it was her kindergarten graduation day, they played a special song to congratulate her!
Next up...KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!
