She still has those BIG Magers brains! :) Dr. Diaz was very impressed with Georgia's vocabulary, and I told her that I was, too! She's such a good communicator and she truly understands everything we say! I love watching her think, and I love listening to her sweet little voice. She's such a precious gift!
She played in the waiting room...a Georgia Truett first!
Hattie, covering Georgia up...
kissing her...
laying beside her, making her laugh...
and letting Georgia climb ALL over her and bounce on her! They're like two little kittens!
Then Dr. Diaz came in, and Georgia was perfectly happy and calm!
And now to talk about our precious little TWO-year old...
Georgia loves to eat, just like her mama!!! She loved her birthday muffins!
And her birthday donut!
She loves matching Hattie in every way.
She loves her Daddy BIG TIME!
And this big girl no longer has a diaper bag...thanks to Gramma and Poppa, she has her very own monogramed backpack!
She is LOUD!!! She LOVES to be goofy and make us laugh with her silly voices and faces.
She's very affectionate, sensitive to other people's feelings, and sometimes needs to "hoed" you. She loves her Mama time, and especially wants Mommy to read to her, sing to her, and rock her to sleep.
She has spark and ideas of her own...and loves to look fancy.
She loves headbands and bows, and she smiles with her lower jaw shifted forward! She loves to do her hair like this and put her shoes on by herself!
Did I mention that she loves her Daddy?
And her Sissy, too? She has a burning NEED to be NEAR her Mommy, Daddy and Big Sister and show them her love by being there.
I have noticed since Hattie has been home from school for the summer that she and Georgia have grown closer! They play better together and love each other's company much more than ever before. They still quarrel and fuss and push and cry, but they love each other deeply. Yesterday, as Hattie was "working" at her art table, Georgia was running her hands through Hattie's hair. Hattie paid her no attention and eventually told Georgia to stop, so Georgia stuck her face right in front of Hattie's face and smiled...waiting for Hattie to acknowledge her and love her back. Hattie gave her a kiss and Georgia, satisfied, laid her head on Hattie's shoulder to hug her. I couldn't believe it!
I realize how blessed I am to be the mommy to these two little girls, and I don't take this privilege lightly. Every day, I am humbled and honored and ever-thankful for these precious gifts.
