We started the festivities with a picnic at Grace to reunite with Hattie's friends and teachers...it was so great, because it got Hattie really pumped up to start school in a few days! She loved getting her face painted!
G got a ladybug on her arm!
These two bigger girls were attached to her the entire night! Georgia ate up all the attention!
Then it was "Meet The Teacher" and school picture day!
We ran into Ms. Ophelia and she kissed all over Hattie! She is the sweetest, most precious thing! She is one of the Grace Academy custodians and she couldn't weigh more than 100 pounds. Everyone loves Ms. Ophelia.
Hattie found her room and was SO excited to see that she got her OWN desk this year!
Sutton and Jacey were in Hattie's class again this year!
Mrs. Medina is already a wonderful teacher and we are so grateful!
THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!
She wore her brand-new Grace hair ribbon and wore it proudly!
Georgia really missed Hattie during the day, and when we had to leave the room she cried, "I want to go to schoooooooool!" It's been a hard time for her, but she sure does love to pick Hattie up from school when the day is finally over!
We are so thankful to God for the blessing of Hattie attending Grace Academy. We know it is only because of His goodness that she has this opportunity, and we couldn't be more grateful!
