Fair Day

So, this post is a month late, but I have to share...this was Hattie's first year to go to the fair! We decided to make a family day of it, so Uncle Jason and Aunt Ashley went with us too! Gramma and Poppa were planning to come, but ended up having take a sick day...so sad! But they eventually took Hattie to the fair and experienced all the joy the State Fair of Texas has to offer (see two blog entries ago)! Here's what we did!

Once on the train, Hattie was in complete awe of her surroundings!


Finally there at the fair! YEA!

Hattie's favorite thing at the fair was the FIRST thing we did...we went to the car show buildings! Hattie was in her little world, running around the huge, carpeted floor, climbing into any and every car she wanted! The expression on her face in this racecar was priceless...

Gotta love the Creative Arts building...I love to see the pies, jams, photography, and even the butter sculpture!

We ended our day at the petting zoo...hot, stinky, fun!
