Genesis 1:1

So, I have to confess, I've never taught Hattie any Bible verses. I know, I know, I'm in Children's Ministry, and I should be doing it from day one, right? Well, I haven't ever done it, and she's 2 years old now. I've taught her plenty of scriptural songs and concepts, but never straight scripture. Well, last week, a good friend of ours (who owns a Christian bookstore which we frequent EVERY Friday), was talking with Hattie in the children's section of the store. She (Mrs. Susan) sat on the floor and asked her, "Do you know any Bible verses, Hattie?" Hattie just looked at her blankly, and I sheepishly said, "Noooo, she doesn't," (insert nervous laugh here). Mrs. Susan said, "Well, can I teach you one?" and I answered for Hattie and said, "Oh of course! Let's learn a Bible verse, Hattie!" Mrs. Susan taught us this verse in less than 30 seconds.
