Lately...

I thought I would post some pictures we've taken the last few days before Christmas gets here. We've had lots of fun these days. I've had a few vacation days to spend here and there, so Hattie and I have had some great play days at the house! Hattie is getting so creative and imaginative with her play...she spends lots of her time with Blue Boy (her favorite puppy). She talks to him, tells him to do things, cooks for him, and makes sure he gets a sticker when if he doesn't fuss when he gets dressed in the morning!

We go to Cisco like clockwork every Friday...our waiter, Tom, gives us a treat sometimes! You'll never guess what he gave us today!

Uncle Buddy came this Friday, just to see Hattie! That was a treat, too!

Tom, Maribel, and Marlo are always SO sweet to us every week. After Hattie finishes her lunch, if I still have a few more bites left on my plate, I can just send her to "her bench" and they come over and chat it up with her.


We had to give them a Christmas card this year and a few cookies. They gave Hattie an ornament and two candy canes! :)

Our BIGGEST accomplishment this week has been POTTY TRAINING! This is how it all happened...before Hattie's 2nd birthday, she suddenly decided she wanted to go on the potty. That lasted two days. After that, she wanted nothing to do with the potty whatsoever. Until this past Monday night! While I was getting her bath water ready, she just popped open her potty seat, sat down, and went! I was so proud of her! On Tuesday, she stayed dry all day except for one accident at Nonnie's house. Wednesday, she only had two accidents (both of which were when we had a visitor come over to the house and neither of us were as focused!), and Thursday and Friday were accident-free! I'm so proud of my little Hattie! She's pretty excited about it, too, because she gets a chocolate chip for every potty success AND she is sporting some pretty awesome panties. Check them out!
