This was the FIRST time in my entire adult life that I had a Christmas Break! We had such a great time, celebrating Christmas with all our families and...just doing nothing! But somehow "nothing" turns into a whole lot of "somethings." Here's a glimpse.
First, when writing thanks-you notes, I just HAD to document the picture Georgia drew of her family! Isn't it good?
And we worked on writing her name!
We had a GIRL-TIME day at Northpark, and our first stop was Bath and Body Works. The girls love to sniff everything...
And pick a soap to wash their hands with...
And then we went to Mommy's favorite store...Gap. We got a little silly and playful with all the big mirrors around.
Then Hattie had an orthodontist appointment and we predict she will have a very high-dollar mouth like her mama. Lovely.
And surprise, surprise, we got to see our Vancouverian bestie, Liesel!!! She and her family are now in Scotland! She wins the mileage award! It was such a treat to spend time with her before she left!
Liesel gave the girls her old American Girl tea set (GASP!), and they haven't stopped playing with it since! They got all dressed up in their flower girl dresses, got marshmallows, fruity snacks, and water, and had a fantastic time!
While they were partying, I was outside raking...and raking...and raking! I counted 25 trash bags, STUFFED with leaves. It was crazy and exhausting, but I enjoyed meeting this little guy.
And our kitty friend, Marley, came back...
Ahhhhh, much better.
