Christmas Fun

I begin this post with a picture I made with the girls from 2015 on the left and THIS current year on the right...what?!?!  How can they be this old?!?  Time is flying!  But sharing and taking these pictures helps me cling to the memories I want to remember.
This year, BOTH girls got to help Daddy decorate the tree.  Georgia felt SO big.
And "rainbow candy canes" were a MUST!
Later in the season, I found Georgia actually hugging the tree.
Leaves...leaves...so many leaves...
Fun times at church!  Georgia ran to her friend to hug her goodbye when I came to pick her up.  So sweet.
And we had a PJ pancake party at church one day, too!
And the annual babysitting night with Ms. Ruthie was super-fun...they baked and decorated the most beautiful cookies!
Helping Mommy before school...
And one of my students gave me a treasure...a clipping of rosemary!
Then came time for our choir program at church...we had a great time!
I surprised Jeremy with tickets to see Andrea Bocelli for his surprise Christmas present!
And at dinner, we ran into Rafael Eledge from Antiques Roadshow!  I was totally star struck, and he was SO nice!
Ahhhh, sitting and waiting to be serenaded by Andrea.
Then this girl got promoted to a big-girl bed!
And we made Granny's Forgotten Cookies...
Georgia had a "half-birthday" at school!
Northpark at Christmastime is simply the best.
Trains!
And the second trip to Northpark in one day was to be with these sweet girls!
Longview Christmas fun!
The Luke 2 Christmas reading by Hattie Hunt this year!
Boys will be boys...
Georgia and Hattie's present from us and most of the family was their NEW bedrooms!!!  Bedding, beds, and everything was moved around...and they were SO surprised!
Christmas Eve service with my girls
The girls left cookies, chocolate, a candy cane and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
And a note of encouragement for Santa in case he needs it to make it through the long hard night of work!
Christmas morning!!!
The gift theme for both girls would be Shopkins, Frozen, art and super girl.
More Dallas Christmas fun!
Sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters...
Sisters and Bros
Aaaaaaaand, Reggie :)
