This summer, I have been working part-time for FBD, helping prep the children's ministry for VBS coming up in two weeks. It's a great system, because I get to bring Hattie with me (leaving Georgia with Nonnie) two days a week, and she gets to be in her own class with her friends while I work. One particular day, we had a TON of supplies to sort, and we stayed a little later than normal. Hattie's class had ended but she just hung out with me and helped me open up bags of markers and things, count them out, put them in baggies, and toss them into these 18 tubs. Here she is, arranging the tubs and popping the lids on for me when we finished! What a helper!
Georgia started sitting face-forward in the car about 4 weeks earlier than she was "supposed" to, but I have no regrets! She MORE than met the weight requirement for a forward-facing carseat, and sitting backwards was maddening for her and all others in the car with her! Now, everyone is happy.
She is so chill and happy in the car now. She had this sing-song little voice which we all love to hear, and she babbles on and on.
I also forgot to post this pic from May on Hattie's last day of KDO, with her teachers. She had a great year with them! I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten in just a few months! :0
Georgia had a new thing for biting onto toys and letting them dangle out of her mouth. She will crawl all over the place with this toy in her mouth! So hilarious! It's so cool to have teeth now!
And with those teeth come a million different finger food options! She's doing great! She loves carrots, nectarines, strawberries, plums, bananas, and pears...she's "ho-hum" about avocado, black beans, and peas...she does NOT like cantaloupe! She ate it once, but never again...but we will try, try again!
Is there something on my face?
Here she is at church with one of her friends, Logan. She's not so sure about sharing those Cheerios.
The girls get along really well most of the time! On one occasion, I left Hattie in Georgia's room, and they were happy for a long time! Then, all of a sudden, I heard Georgia crying and I asked Hattie what was going on. Hattie just said, "I wanted to see what she would look like as Tinkerbelle! Isn't she cute???" I walked in to this:
The other day, I took Georgia to the doctor to double-check that her ear infection had cleared up, and BOTH girls played in the waiting room! That was a first!
They're just growing so fast! Georgia will turn ONE in just a few days...I can't believe it! I am so grateful to have this time to spend with them while they are still so young. What a blessing they are to our lives! I'll leave you with this cute video I took at breakfast the other day:

Poor little Tinkerbell! I imagine that won't be the last time she gets dressed up as a life-sized doll! :)
