This is Hattie's second summer to take swim lessons, and she's really making great strides this year! I'm so proud of her! And it's been fun to have Georgia here this time...last year, I was only two weeks away from having her, and I remember feeling pretty puffy! ;) Mrs. Taylor is such a great teacher! By the end of Hattie's two weeks, she was SOOO close to swimming on her own! I think by the end of the summer, with a little more practice, she will be a real swimmer! Right now, she can swim a few strokes before she comes up for air, and then she needs support to get going again. I'm VERY proud of her! And so is Georgia! She loved crawling around and clapping for Hattie!
Hattie, Mrs. Taylor, and Vivian
Swimming on her own (with a noodle) to get those ducks!
And she always picked the BEST prizes from the prize box at the end of lessons!
Georgia, watching big sister...
Oh, hey, Mama.
Cheering for Hattie!!!
Crawling and hamming it up a little...
Those eyes!
Here's a video of Hattie swimming (Georgia didn't like it when I didn't let her hold the phone!):
And I caught a short video of G cheering for Hattie! You'll here Vivian (the other girl in Hattie's swim group) at the end of the video...she loved Georgia, too!
