VBS 2016

Here we are...VBS...Day 1...at 7:15 am...on the quiet city streets of downtown Dallas...

And I had to take another picture like the one I took last year on Day 1!  Their outfits still (barely) fit, so I wanted to recreate it!  On the left, VBS 2016.  On the right, VBS 2015.

Georgia was so happy to have Ms. Judith again!  Remember her from KDO?  Everything was right with the world.

And likewise, Hattie could endure anything as long as she was in Kinley's class...which she was!

And I won't even TELL you how long I worked on Monday night at my desk, making this sea anemone costume...it was crazy.

But look how cute it turned out!!!!

 

I made all the costumes for our fishy drama crew...we had Jellyfish Jane, Minnie Anemone, Stella Starfish, and Claudia Clam.  Diver Dan wore a scuba suit, of course.

They were wonderful and did amazing jobs on stage every day!  Nonnie deserves all the credit here!  They were fantastic because SHE directed their every move and word!

And the worship time every day was awesome!  Jana Alayra was fantastic!

She's my children's ministry music/worship hero, and I think her coming created a whole crew of new fans!  I'm so glad!

I wish everyone could experience this woman!  She's amazing!  So much energy and yet very mature and appropriate...with amazingly deep content in her music!  I just love her!

VBS...Day 5...ready to rock and roll!

VBS 2016 didn't disappoint!  It was an awesome week!!!
