Special Days

These are special days, people.  First of all, look at this picture Georgia drew!  Look at all the detail she put on her dress!  And her name!  I'm so proud! :)
This is Georgia's best friend from school...Abby.  They were representing at their class Valentine's Day party.
One of the reasons I love working at Grace is that I happen to run into Hattie and Georgia in the hallways every now and then.  On this particular day, Hattie had just pulled her own tooth out!  And I got to see her right after it happened!
I can even catch cute moments like this with Hattie and her friends, laughing in car lines at the end of the day.
And Western Day...we HAD to take a picture!
And playing in my classroom before school starts each day has become a special treat for them.  When we began the year, I thought the girls would want to hang out with their friends in the "holding room" for all students who get dropped off early before school starts.  Not the case at all!  They love playing in my room with all the centers!

Thankful for sweet church friends, both young and old.  Generational worship is a special time where the elementary and youth kids get to sing with the old folks in the choir loft on a Sunday morning.  This pic was from rehearsal, but I love to see Hattie enjoying leading worship!
And just a cool moment in the car...
Very cool.

It was this day that I realized I had taken the SAME picture of them every year since they were four!  I couldn't fit the 4-yr-old one into this collage, but look!  Such sweet girls!
Oh, and about a week after one tooth came out, the other one on the top came out, too!  Ugh, she's growing up way too fast!
I found a Lip Leaf at school.  Yes, I took this picture when I was all alone in my classroom.  It was too perfect NOT to!
These sweet girls...they are so busy...all the time...
And this one is growing fast, too.  She's learning so much at school, gaining confidence, and working to conquer her very real fear of the wind...this day pictured below was a BIG moment for her!
I can hardly stand it...she's so precious.
This is our little family, and I am so thankful for it.  It's not always easy.  We can ALL drive each other crazy, but we love each other hard.
