Spring Break! In Seattle!

I don't know why, but I had no idea I would see desert or mountains from the sky!  I totally forgot the geography of the west!  It was beautiful!

Erin couldn't have been a more precious host!  I had the BEST time!

I found this on my bed!  Is that not the sweetest thing?!?!

I fell in love with moss in Washington.

We went to Puget Sound.  It was so typically gray and rainy but I loved it!

More moss :)

Then, we picked up the girls from school! :)

Lili melted my heart.  Like butter.

Mark was fun, too! ;)

More moss again.

Then we went to Pike Place Market!  It was SUCH an experience!

This is the restaurant where Tom Hanks eats with his friend in Sleepless in Seattle!

We saw the guys throw the fish!

I had the most delicious salmon chowder in a bread bowl with a special huckleberry soda!  Ahhhhh!

The fruit was so pretty!

Yellow daffodils lined the entire market for blocks.

Erin made sure to take me to the grossest landmark in Seattle which everyone wants to see!

We got the BEST mac and cheese here and saw how they make their own cheese!

Cherry blossom trees are usually in full bloom during this time of year, but Erin said the rain had delayed many of them...we still caught this beautiful one on it's way to full bloom!  So pretty!

We saw the Chihuly glass museum from afar...

And we saw a FULL rainbow!  It was perfect!

Come to realize, Seattle had random pretty walls which make great selfie backdrops!

What a fantastic week to spend with my sweet Erin Lamb!

I loved every minute of it!  Thank you, precious friend, for spending your time with me and showing me your amazing city!
