We drove into Longview for a family reunion one weekend, and Baby Charlie's birthday the next...who isn't much of a baby anymore! He's two! After the second weekend in Longview, Jeremy and I ended up leaving the girls there for a week of Longview fun! VBS at Woodland Hills and more!
The family reunion was fun!
Then we drove back to Dallas for church because we had obligations for Father's Day at FBD...but we celebrated our wonderful fathers (including Poppa, long-distance!)! Georgia wore a tiara for the occasion!
Then next weekend was Charlie's party! But first...a gorgeous sunset!
And a night swim!
Gramma always has the funnest bath toys...the big hit lately has been the bath crayons! Here's Hattie's depiction of our family!
Sweet Roger
Poppa didn't know the girls were going to help him mow before the party!
Sometimes turning the John Deere took a little more girl-power than expected! (The battery was getting low!)
Swinging in the breeze
The birthday boy himself! #2!!!
Girl cousins!
Then after the party, Jeremy and I went back home to Dallas and left the girls in Longview for some VBS fun!
They had a BLAST!
While they were away, I discovered a GIANT zipper spider in our backyard...this girl was HUGE...
And I started working a few hours a week at the church to help with VBS...because you CAN'T have summer without VBS! Or pictures with your work bestie, Kylie! :)
Then we got the girls back home...Georgia had a lot to say...
We are so lucky to have such sweet family in our lives, who want to love on our girls!
Thank you so much, Gramma and Poppa!
