Once Mommy was recovered from her hernia surgery and we celebrated Georgia's birthday, summer got busy FAST! Hattie went to a day camp with two good school friends. It was the best of both worlds...camp with all the "things" (archery, swimming, crafts, etc.) and buses brought all the kids back by 4:30 so she was home every night!
And yet every day's goodbye was big on a Georgia scale.
After we dropped Hattie off, then we drove straight to Mrs. Taylor's house for Georgia's first official swim lessons! She was so pumped! She gained much-needed confidence in the water and I fully expect her to be swimming on her own next summer!
The first day was especially nerve-wrecking for my cautious girl, so we had a bit of an incentive for a job well done...powdered donuts!
After day 1, there were NO incentives needed! She LOVED it!
By 4:30, we would pick Hattie up at PCBC, and THIS happened almost every day. Summer is exhausting!
Notice the drool...
Here are the videos of Georgia's progress!!! We were so proud!
