Hattie's Baptism

Hattie got baptized on November 29, the Sunday after Thanksgiving.  We were especially thankful and honored because so many members of our family were there to witness this special moment in Hattie's life.  Gramma and Poppa were there from Longview, which was a very special treat considering the fact that Poppa rarely has a Sunday away from his own congregation at Woodland Hills!  I was on the front line praise team, and Molly sang with Nonnie in the choir.  Ryan, Matthew and Hallie Claire stood with Jeremy, Gramma and Poppa in the baptism area, and the Hernandez and Josephine were there, too!  What a special day!  The last time we had this many family members at FBD was on Granny's 97th birthday and Georgia's baby dedication!  Here are some pictures we received from Mr. LaRue (a faithful servant in our children's ministry who takes pictures of every child's baptism).  I had no idea he would capture so many wonderful moments!
After church, we had a delicious lunch which Poppa cooked at our house!  It was such a special time!
Time with cousins is irreplaceable!
What a special day, and what a testimony to the prayers of so many faithful believers!  I know many of you reading this blog have prayed for the salvation of Hattie, and I am so thankful for you!  Jeremy and I were both so blessed to be raised in Christian families, taught from the inerrant Word of God that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  No one comes to the Father except through Him, and we pray that every person in our family will believe that truth.  Thank you, everyone, for being a part of Hattie's spiritual journey.  Just as 2 Peter 3:18 says, may she grow in grace!
